Overview
Own BOM accuracy across the product lifecycle at Etched, a hardware company building frontier AI inference systems. You will validate and reconcile BOMs across Teamcenter, contract manufacturer data, and As-Built records, directly impacting manufacturing readiness. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to resolve discrepancies and drive data quality. What You'll Do7
- 1Analyze and validate BOMs for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, resolving discrepancies across Engineering, Contract Manufacturer, procurement, and As-Built data.
- 2Develop and maintain BOM reports, dashboards, Delta BOMs, and data quality metrics to provide visibility into product data health.
- 3Support Engineering Change analysis, implementation tracking, and product data validation to ensure changes land correctly.
- 4Partner with cross-functional teams to improve product data quality and manufacturing readiness, focusing on high-impact gaps.
- 5Support Teamcenter reporting, testing, and validation of new PLM capabilities to enhance system reliability.
- 6Identify opportunities to improve BOM management, reporting, and product data governance, proposing scalable solutions.
- 7Define business requirements and collaborate with the Platform PLM team to implement process and system enhancements.
Requirements10
- 15-8 years supporting product data, BOMs, PLM, manufacturing engineering, or configuration management in hardware development.
- 2Hands-on experience with BOMs, product structures, or manufacturing product data, including analysis and reconciliation.
- 3Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of investigating data discrepancies across multiple sources.
- 4High attention to detail and data accuracy, producing reliable and precise analyses.
- 5Experience creating reports, dashboards, or data comparisons using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- 6Ability to communicate insights clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
- 7Comfort working in a rapidly evolving environment with shifting priorities.
- 8Exposure to Siemens Teamcenter or another PLM system is a plus.
- 9Familiarity with Engineering Change Requests, Engineering Change Notices, or Deviations is beneficial.
- 10Knowledge of ERP systems such as NetSuite and reporting tools like SQL are nice-to-have.
