Overview

Design, build, and maintain the AWS infrastructure underpinning a large-scale data lake and agent runtime environments. You will own the stability, scalability, and security of production environments enabling data science and agentic AI workloads. Collaborate with a Network Analytics team on a project transitioning from legacy systems. This role stands out for its direct impact on reliable CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud-native architecture.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Design and implement AWS infrastructure for a multi-petabyte data lake using Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • 2Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins to automate deployments and testing.
  • 3Manage Kubernetes clusters for agent runtime environments, ensuring high availability and auto-scaling.
  • 4Monitor production systems using Prometheus and Grafana, and respond to incidents with root cause analysis.
  • 5Collaborate with data engineering to optimize data storage and query performance on S3, Glue, and Athena.
  • 6Implement security best practices including IAM policies, VPC design, and encryption at rest and in transit.
  • 7Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible and Python scripts.
  • 8Drive the migration of legacy workloads to AWS EKS and serverless architectures.
  • 9Provide on-call support for production issues and ensure SLAs are met.

Requirements10

  • 15+ years of experience in platform or infrastructure engineering with a focus on AWS.
  • 23+ years managing Kubernetes clusters in production, including networking and storage.
  • 3Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • 4Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • 5Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
  • 6Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or CloudWatch.
  • 7Knowledge of AWS core services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC.
  • 8Experience with data pipelines and data lake architecture (e.g., Spark, Hive, Glue) is a plus.
  • 9AWS Certified (e.g., Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer) is preferred.
  • 10Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
