Overview
Lead piping design for complex systems at scale within a mechanical design team. Own 3D modeling, piping layouts, and fabrication drawings for projects in a manufacturing environment. What You'll Do5
- 1Design piping systems and generate fabrication drawings using CAD tools.
- 2Coordinate with engineers to develop layout designs that meet codes and project requirements.
- 3Produce 3D models and piping isometrics for fabrication and installation.
- 4Review and update isometric drawings to reflect field changes and ASME standards.
- 5Support bid and proposal activities with accurate takeoffs and material lists.
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's degree in mechanical or piping design or relevant field
- 22+ years in piping design for industrial or manufacturing environments
- 3Proficiency with 3D CAD software and piping design tools
- 4Understanding of ASME codes and piping standards
- 5Ability to work onsite in Hammond, IN as contract-to-hire
