Pick/Pack Associate Job in Phoenix | Warehouse Fulfillment
Overview
You will own order accuracy and fulfillment speed in a high-volume warehouse environment. You will pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using barcode scanners and electronic order systems, ensuring each shipment meets quality standards. What You'll Do10
- 1Read and fulfill customer orders, shipping orders, and requisitions with barcode scanners and electronic order systems.
- 2Pick, count, weigh, and verify items against order specifications to ensure accuracy in the first 90 days.
- 3Scan LPNs, UPCs, and location codes to maintain real-time inventory records.
- 4Assemble orders in totes, cartons, or on pallets, securing products to prevent damage.
- 5Pack, label, and prepare completed orders for shipment or storage, following company, carrier, and customer requirements.
- 6Inspect products and packaging for accuracy and damage, reporting discrepancies and removing defective items.
- 7Use packaging materials and hand tools correctly, and complete required paper and electronic documentation.
- 8Organize completed orders by shipping location, carrier, or route to speed dispatch.
- 9Maintain accurate records of packaging supplies and notify management of shortages.
- 10Keep work areas clean and safe, and participate in cross-department training to support operations.
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 21+ years of warehouse, picking, packing, or shipping experience preferred.
- 3Ability to read and follow order instructions and packaging guidelines.
- 4Strong attention to detail for accuracy and quality.
- 5Ability to operate barcode scanners, basic warehouse equipment, and electronic order systems.
- 6Basic computer skills for completing electronic forms and documentation.
- 7Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- 8Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift materials within safety limits.
- 9Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
