What You'll Do10
- 1Build and deliver pediatric therapy evaluations and ongoing services in natural settings to drive progress
- 2Educate families on intervention strategies to enable carry over and active involvement
- 3Follow individualized therapy plans across diverse settings including homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics, and community venues
- 4Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain confidential child records in compliance with HIPAA and laws
- 5Coordinate with clinical supervisors and administrative staff to ensure timely records and seamless service delivery
- 6Contribute to team goals and participate in ongoing professional development
- 7Adapt plans to meet family needs and goals within licensing and organizational guidelines
- 8Maintain high ethical standards and collaborative communication with families and staff
- 9Support the paperless billing and data collection system through training and use
- 10Travel to cases as needed ensuring coverage across Westchester Putnam and Dutchess Counties
Requirements9
- 1NY state Licensed Physical Therapist
- 21-2 years of experience with children birth-5 is preferred but not required
- 3Passion for working with children and families
- 4Self motivated team player with patience and professionalism
- 5Ability to travel to assigned cases
- 6Must be able to lift 10 pounds and navigate stairs and floor activities
- 7Fluency in a language other than English is a plus
- 8Must be able to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods
- 9Disposable comfort with driving a personal vehicle and using public transportation
