What You'll Do8

  • 1Deliver direct patient care and physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, focusing on functional goals.
  • 2Build strong patient relationships to ensure adherence and progress, achieving a 90%+ satisfaction rate.
  • 3Document patient progress in the proprietary EMR system, reducing charting time by 20%.
  • 4Collaborate with a team of specialists, including PTs, OTs, and Athletic Trainers, on integrated care plans.
  • 5Participate in weekly case reviews and contribute to outcome tracking using MIPS metrics.
  • 6Implement evidence-based interventions from our ABPTRFE-accredited residency programs.
  • 7Use the Patient Management Tool to schedule follow-ups and monitor patient compliance.
  • 8Mentor student interns and new hires, sharing best practices from our Upper Extremity Athlete Fellowship.

Requirements7

  • 1Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • 2Current professional licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant or license eligible in Texas.
  • 30-2+ years of clinical experience in outpatient or rehabilitation settings.
  • 4Hands-on proficiency with EMR systems and documentation software.
  • 5Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
  • 6Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, CPR preferred.
  • 7Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
