Overview

Deliver patient-centered physical therapy in a hospital-based rehab team, evaluating and treating diverse cases across outpatient ortho and neuro populations. What You'll Do8

  • 1Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, developing and adjusting individualized treatment plans based on patient progress.
  • 2Document patient care, treatment outcomes, and discharge planning, ensuring accurate EMR records.
  • 3Communicate patient status with physicians and the healthcare team, coordinating care across disciplines.
  • 4Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, delegating tasks and ensuring quality care delivery.
  • 5Provide home exercise programs and patient/family education, empowering patients to achieve functional goals.
  • 6Rotate through treatment areas as needed, covering outpatient ortho and neuro rehab caseloads.
  • 7Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and professional development, staying current with evidence-based practices.
  • 8Serve as a clinical instructor for PT students and residents, fostering the next generation of therapists.

Requirements7

  • 1Graduate of an accredited program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
  • 2Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in practicing state required.
  • 3CPR certification required based on AHA standards within 30 days of hire.
  • 4Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • 5Must obtain Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal.
  • 6Outpatient ortho and/or neuro experience preferred.
  • 7Knowledge and skills to provide quality customer service.
