Overview

You will own patient recovery outcomes at a high-volume outpatient clinic in Los Angeles, evaluating and treating 12-15 patients daily. You will collaborate with a team of PTs and PTAs to deliver personalized care plans. What You'll Do7

  • 1Evaluate new patients, design treatment plans, and set measurable goals within the first week.
  • 2Guide patients through exercises and functional tasks, adjusting form and intensity for safety and progress.
  • 3Document each session, tracking progress and modifying plans for optimal recovery.
  • 4Train patients on support devices like walkers, canes, and wheelchairs to enhance mobility at home.
  • 5Inspect and sanitize therapy equipment daily to maintain a safe, clean gym floor.
  • 6Coordinate with referring physicians and other therapists to align care and discharge planning.
  • 7Lead patient education on injury prevention and home exercise programs.

Requirements6

  • 1Current California PT license and CPR certification
  • 22+ years in outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation
  • 3Proficiency with EHR systems and documentation
  • 4Hands-on manual therapy skills and exercise prescription
  • 5Strong communication to build rapport with patients and families
  • 6Ability to make clinical decisions in a fast-paced rehab setting
