Physical Therapist, Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic
Overview
Own the full patient care cycle at an outpatient clinic in Beaverton, OR, treating 8-12 adults daily. You'll evaluate, diagnose, and treat orthopedic, post-operative, sports medicine, and spine conditions. Work Monday-Thursday with a balanced schedule, plus Friday mornings. Collaborate with a supportive team in a clinic equipped with modern tools and private treatment spaces.
What You'll Do7
- 1Evaluate patient mobility, strength, and function to craft individualized treatment plans within the first two weeks.
- 2Deliver evidence-based interventions for orthopedic, post-operative, sports medicine, and spine patients using manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
- 3Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies, updating plans based on progress.
- 4Document every patient encounter accurately in the EMR, tracking outcomes and adjusting care.
- 5Coordinate with physicians and other providers to ensure seamless care for complex cases.
- 6Stay current on physical therapy techniques by attending monthly in-service trainings and reviewing new research.
- 7Treat a diverse adult population (ages 20-99), adapting communication and treatment to individual needs.
Requirements6
- 1Active Oregon Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure before start.
- 21+ years outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience preferred.
- 3Strong manual therapy skills for joint and soft tissue mobilization.
- 4Comfortable treating patients across a wide range of ages and conditions, including post-operative and spine.
- 5Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration.
- 6Commitment to building lasting relationships with patients, providers, and the community.
