Physical Therapy Aide, Patient Care & Rehabilitation Support
Overview
As a Physical Therapy Aide at ATI Physical Therapy, you will own patient check-in, treatment area readiness, and exercise support, working with a team of Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists in a collaborative clinic environment. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship, launching your healthcare career. This role offers direct patient interaction and exposes you to the full scope of physical therapy practice.
What You'll Do6
- 1Greet and interact with patients warmly by phone and in person during check-in and throughout appointments.
- 2Drive an efficient patient intake and registration process, assisting with scheduling and verifying benefits.
- 3Onboard new patients by reviewing paperwork, verifying benefits, and completing medical forms.
- 4Prepare and clean treatment areas, set up and adjust exercise equipment.
- 5Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
- 6Assist patients with exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.
Requirements6
- 1High School diploma or equivalent
- 218+ years old
- 31+ years healthcare and/or customer service experience
- 4Preferred: 1-2 years experience as a Physical Therapy Aide or Technician, Medical Assistant, or in hospital, chiropractic, or fitness settings
- 5Preferred: Certified Personal Trainer certification
- 6Preferred: education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology
