Physical Security Specialist Level 3 Integrated Intel Solutions
Overview
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive physical security strategies for NGA and industrial areas across CONUS and OCONUS to ensure compliance with DoD and IC standards for SCI and classified information. Manage the SCIF and Collateral Area lifecycle while providing technical expertise and coordinating with government and industry partners.
What You'll Do11
- 1Own and direct the creation of Secure Area and Collateral Area plans meeting DoD directives and IC policies
- 2Conduct SCIF accreditation processes and maintain accurate records in community databases
- 3Provide technical briefings and training sessions on physical security best practices
- 4Analyze complex security challenges and develop cost-effective mitigation strategies
- 5Travel globally to inspect facilities and validate security compliance
- 6Prepare documentation for accreditation including Fixed Facility Checklists and Approval Memoranda
- 7Collaborate with contractors to manage access and data entry tasks
- 8Maintain up-to-date records and prepare business support documents using Microsoft Suite
- 9Create and present weekly activity reports and metrics for program oversight
- 10Interpret security policies regarding classification levels and controlled material handling
- 11Perform risk assessments and recommend improvements to physical security frameworks
Requirements12
- 15 years of experience in physical security field
- 2Documented experience conducting Physical SCIF inspections per ICD 705
- 3Familiarity with Fixed Facility Checklist creation and maintenance
- 4Documented experience writing security reports and generating metrics
- 5Documented experience performing risk assessments
- 6Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- 7Ability to travel up to 25% of time
- 8Certifications: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification, Physical Security Certification, ASIS Certification, ICD 705 SCIF Course
- 9Basic knowledge of Intrusion Detection Systems
- 10Familiarity with DoD Key and Lock Program
- 11Experience in other security disciplines or construction security monitoring
- 12Past experience as a contractor or office custodian for security systems
