Overview
The Physical Education Aide will own instructional support and administrative tasks for the PE department. This role differs by focusing on direct student assistance and office support.
What You'll Do9
- 1Assist in instructional activities such as exercising and demonstrating games
- 2Organize equipment needed for daily activities
- 3Perform secretarial duties including typing and grading
- 4Keep bulletin boards updated
- 5Monitor locker rooms before and after class
- 6Update gradebooks and record test scores
- 7Supervise students when assigned
- 8Provide bus duty before and after school
- 9Maintain emotional control under stress
Requirements9
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2College hours for Title I campus or a score of 464 on the ParaPro test
- 3High school diploma or GED for non-Title I campus
- 4Knowledge of filing system
- 5Good physical condition
- 6Enthusiasm for sports
- 7General office skills
- 8Ability to work with children
- 9Paraprofessional aide certificate required once employed
