Overview
You will own prescription processing and customer care at a busy Dallas pharmacy, handling 300+ scripts daily. You will work with Bestrx Software and report to the lead pharmacist, coordinating with a team of 4 technicians. This role stands out for its mix of full-time and part-time flexibility and bilingual Spanish support.
What You'll Do6
- 1Process prescriptions accurately using Bestrx Software, verifying patient and drug information.
- 2Fill and label prescriptions, preparing them for pharmacist review and patient pickup.
- 3Manage inventory, restocking shelves and checking expiration dates to ensure compliance.
- 4Greet customers, input their information, and answer questions about medications and insurance.
- 5Resolve insurance claim rejections by contacting payers or correction data in Bestrx.
- 6Assist pharmacists with compounding, medication therapy management, and immunization support.
Requirements5
- 11+ years of pharmacy, retail, or medical experience
- 2Hands-on experience with Bestrx Software script software
- 3Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- 4National Certification from an accredited program (PTCB, ExCPT, or state-approved)
- 5Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
