You will own pharmacy operations for home-based intravenous therapies at a Douglasville, GA infusion center. Your team reports to you, and you will report to the Regional Director. What You'll Do8
- 1Manage daily pharmacy operations including sterile compounding and IV admixture preparation with CPR+ and CareTent systems.
- 2Lead recruitment, training, and orientation for pharmacy personnel, including performance evaluations and on-call scheduling.
- 3Ensure compliance with USP guidelines and State Board of Pharmacy laws across all processes.
- 4Provide clinical oversight of infusion therapies, collaborating with healthcare providers to adjust patient care plans.
- 5Contribute to branch budgeting and workflow optimization, cutting waste in medication preparation.
- 6Participate in administrative on-call duties and maintain regular pharmacist on-call rotations.
- 7Drive continuous performance improvement initiatives in the first 90 days by standardizing compounding workflows.
- 8Oversee inventory control to maintain supply levels for IV medications and compounding supplies.
Requirements8
- 11+ years as a Director of Pharmacy in a home infusion or acute care setting.
- 2PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
- 3Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in Georgia.
- 45-7 years of clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy.
- 5Demonstrated experience managing pharmacy staff with emphasis on training and orientation.
- 6Solid knowledge of infusion management and IV admixture services.
- 7Familiarity with CPR+ and CareTent systems preferred.
- 8Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and regulatory compliance.
