Overview
Own nail care for pets across Denver metro house calls and pop-up clinics, handling 15+ weekly appointments independently. What You'll Do9
- 1Perform approved nail trims for dogs and some cats, adapting handling to each pet.
- 2Assess pet behavior and adjust approach in real time to ensure safety and comfort.
- 3Communicate directly with pet parents to educate and recommend follow-up care.
- 4Maintain detailed client records and update after each appointment.
- 5Work solo during house calls and clinics, making judgment calls within safety standards.
- 6Identify when a pet needs extra support or a service should stop, and escalate appropriately.
- 7Build trust with repeat clients to grow your schedule and commission.
- 8Collaborate with the team via app-based updates to coordinate coverage and clinic logistics.
- 9Develop your own handling style within our standards, focusing on low-stress techniques.
Requirements7
- 12+ years hands-on pet care in grooming, daycare, boarding, or vet clinics.
- 2Experience with nail trims and handling dogs of all sizes.
- 3Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license for house calls.
- 4Comfort with flexible scheduling including weekday evenings and weekends.
- 5Ability to work solo with zero supervision for 4+ hours.
- 6Excellent communication for pet parent education and team updates.
- 7Willingness to learn our behavior-first protocols and pass certification.
