Overview
We seek a skilled specialist to independently manage permitting and compliance projects from initiation through approval. This role operates with minimal supervision and serves as the primary point of contact for assigned projects. The ideal candidate will drive project execution and ensure regulatory outcomes.
What You'll Do11
- 1Own and manage a defined caseload portfolio of permitting and compliance projects from initiation through approval
- 2Serve as primary liaison between clients agencies and internal teams
- 3Prepare submit complete accurate permit applications
- 4Analyze respond to agency comments with clear technically sound responses monitor timelines
- 5Identify risks early implement solutions keep projects on track
- 6Conduct regulatory analysis interpret requirements coordinate across disciplines
- 7Maintain proactive client communication regarding status risks outcomes
- 8Achieve strong client satisfaction minimal escalations positive feedback build relationships
- 9Delegate defined tasks to level i staff provide direction review junior work
- 10Contribute to process improvements document best practices
- 11Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required
- 24–6+ years relevant experience in permitting compliance or related fields
- 3Retail petroleum UST air quality permitting experience strong plus
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Office excel word outlook
- 5Strong project time management skills client facing
- 6Work location hybrid or remote
- 7Demonstrates effective utilization billable performance
- 8Qualified candidate need not meet every requirement
