Overview
OB/GYN Laborist owns inpatient obstetrical care for a 300+ bed hospital in the Seattle Metro, covering labor and delivery, triage, and emergency consults. You'll join a collaborative women's health team with maternal-fetal medicine, anesthesiology, and neonatal support. Per diem schedule offers flexibility to supplement an existing practice. This role stands out for its fully integrated EPIC EMR system and Level III neonatal services.
What You'll Do6
- 1Manage labor and delivery patients, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries, within the first 90 days.
- 2Evaluate and manage obstetric triage patients and emergency consultations.
- 3Collaborate with community OB/GYN physicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams.
- 4Provide gynecologic emergency coverage as needed.
- 5Support patient safety and quality initiatives within the Women's Health program.
- 6Utilize EPIC EMR and integrated clinical workflows for documentation and care coordination.
Requirements5
- 1MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- 2Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- 3Eligible for Washington State medical license.
- 4Active or eligible DEA registration.
- 5Current obstetrical privileges or recent labor and delivery experience preferred.
