What You'll Do7

  • 1Provide overnight in-house Labor & Delivery coverage, managing obstetric triage and admissions.
  • 2Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as needed, using OB/GYN expertise.
  • 3Backup Certified Nurse Midwives and Family Medicine OB providers during overnight shifts.
  • 4Respond to urgent surgical and obstetric emergencies, coordinating with anesthesia and pediatrics teams.
  • 5Collaborate closely with nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality maternal and fetal care.
  • 6Document all patient encounters accurately in the EHR system.
  • 7Participate in quality improvement initiatives for the Labor & Delivery unit.

Requirements5

  • 1Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
  • 2Eligible for Washington State medical licensure.
  • 3Active or eligible DEA registration.
  • 4Experience in high-risk obstetrics preferred, but strong new graduates welcome.
  • 5Full-time availability for nocturnist shifts.
