What You'll Do11
- 1Design and execute evidence‑based treatment plans for assigned dialysis patients ensuring adherence to best practices
- 2Direct and supervise Patient Care Technicians LPNs LVNs and RNs providing hands‑on care and mentorship
- 3Analyze patient data before during and after sessions to adjust therapy and document findings
- 4Collaborate with nephrologists and allied health professionals to develop individualized care pathways
- 5Implement intradialytic transfusion protocols and promptly report adverse reactions to the physician
- 6Administer medications and evaluate therapeutic responses documenting all actions
- 7Lead emergency response drills and coordinate immediate interventions when needed
- 8Serve as a mentor and role model fostering a culture of safety and excellence
- 9Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- 10Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes
- 11Travel to training sites and support cross‑facility initiatives as required
Requirements11
- 15+ years building dialysis programs with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading acute care nursing teams
- 3Current state licensure and CPR BLS certification
- 42 years nephrology nursing experience within the past two years
- 5Acute dialysis experience preferred
- 6CAP certification or enrollment in the Clinical Advancement Program
- 75+ years managing complex patient populations
- 8Proven ability to delegate tasks effectively
- 9Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- 10Commitment to patient safety and regulatory compliance
- 11Flexibility for on‑call rotations and occasional travel
Salary Insight
$81 - $135k per year
