What You'll Do11
- 1Provide specialized clinical psychology services to children birth to 21 and families
- 2Conduct crisis intervention and acute inpatient care for adults at Naval Hospital Emergency Department
- 3Administer psychological testing for developmental and behavioral disorders
- 4Complete written diagnostic reports following DSM-IV guidelines
- 5Deliver outpatient psychotherapy using diverse modalities
- 6Collaborate with USNH Okinawa USAF 18th Medical Group and DOD Dependent Schools
- 7Collect cross-agency data to coordinate care
- 8Provide immediate consultation for emergent patient situations
- 9Travel as required to deliver services
- 10Inform supervisor about patient population needs and resource optimization
- 11Obtain approvals for service delivery and policy implementation
Requirements10
- 1Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from APA accredited institution
- 2Successful completion of psychologist intern program
- 3Valid unrestricted license to practice in any US state or DC
- 4Minimum one year full-time pediatric clinical psychology experience within last five years
- 5Two recent recommendation letters from supervisor and external professional
- 6U.S. citizenship required
- 7Experience with military lifestyle and family systems
- 8Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- 9Strong written and oral communication skills
- 10Ability to commute to varied locations
