Join a collaborative team at Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican in Capitola, CA. We seek a board‑certified pediatrician to lead patient care in a growing coastal community. This role blends hospital acuity with outpatient flexibility and offers mentorship within a six‑physician practice.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and maintain a high‑volume pediatric clinic with flexible outpatient call shifts
- 2Attend deliveries and rounds while maintaining a 1:7 call schedule with protected weekends
- 3Drive growth by precepting advanced practice providers and future residents
- 4Collaborate with Dominican Hospital’s Level 3 NICU for seamless patient transitions
- 5Lead quality initiatives to improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes
Requirements5
- 1Medical degree from an accredited institution and board certification in pediatrics
- 2Valid California medical license and strong clinical expertise in pediatric diseases
- 3Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- 4Empathy and patience when working with children and their families
- 5Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with pediatric medicine advancements
Salary Insight
$275 - $285k per year
