Join the Dignity Health Medical Group - Sequoia team as a Cardiology Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care. This role offers a balanced schedule split between inpatient and outpatient duties. Work within a collaborative environment with five experienced cardiologists at Sequoia Hospital.
What You'll Do10
- 1Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology services across the Sequoia Hospital campus
- 2Manage the cardiology service line including daily rounds and discharge summaries
- 3Coordinate complex patient care such as TAVR procedures and heart failure management
- 4Collaborate with five supervising physicians to ensure continuity of care
- 5Split time equally between inpatient hospital rounding and outpatient clinic responsibilities
- 6Lead and ship clinical initiatives while maintaining high standards of patient care
- 7Utilize AWS and Kubernetes to optimize data pipelines and infrastructure
- 8Drive implementation of Spark and Airflow for ETL processes
- 9Own and scale diagnostic imaging programs to improve patient outcomes
- 10Ship new clinical protocols and drive process improvements
Requirements7
- 1Board-certified Physician Assistant with active California license
- 2Minimum 1 year of recent cardiology experience preferred
- 3Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- 4Experience with AWS and Kubernetes platforms
- 5Familiarity with Spark and Airflow for data engineering tasks
- 6Proven ability to manage end-to-end clinical service lines
- 7Commitment to patient-centered care with excellent work-life balance
Salary Insight
$175 - $185k per year
