What You'll Do11

- 5Obtains required signatures on medical financial and compliance documents
- 6Prepares identification bands and scans critical documents into electronic records
- 7Verifies insurance eligibility and coordinates prior authorizations
- 8Handles payments for balances due including co-payments and deductibles
- 9Collaborates with healthcare teams to maximize reimbursement and patient satisfaction
- 10Assists in department training initiatives
- 11Maintains knowledge of third-party payer requirements
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma or GED required
- 26 months medical office or hospital registration experience
- 31 year experience in medical office hospital nursing home settings
- 4Certification such as CPC Card or BCBA preferred
- 5Valid license for Arizona patient services roles
