What You'll Do11

- 2Process insurance authorizations and submit timely notifications to prevent claim rejections
- 3Conduct patient intake and registration providing superior customer service and collecting liability
- 4Perform financial counseling and discuss patient liability options including payment plans
- 5Generate patient estimates and provide financial assistance guidance based on insurance benefits
- 6Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations and complete required CMS forms
- 7Resolve patient issues promptly while adhering to structured work routines in a high volume environment
- 8Train new hires and mentor team members on workflow and access processes
- 9Assist with daily deposit recaps and postings as part of patient access operations
- 10Act as subject matter expert for acute patient access procedures and escalations
- 11Model Banner Health values and demonstrate exceptional service excellence in all interactions
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Proficiency with AWS and Kubernetes platforms
- 3Certified in CPC Card BCBA or AWS Certified
- 4Experience with React frameworks and Kubernetes orchestration
- 5Strong knowledge of insurance guidelines and payer authorization processes
- 6Ability to verify eligibility benefits and generate accurate patient estimates
- 7Compliance expertise for CMS reporting and documentation requirements
- 8Customer service skills demonstrated through resolving complex issues
- 9Experience with revenue cycle management and financial counseling
- 10Understanding of patient registration workflows across multiple clinical settings
- 11Previous experience in healthcare administration or patient access roles
