What You'll Do9
- 1Register and check-in patients with accurate data entry and collect necessary signatures
- 2Verify insurance eligibility and manage pre-certifications and authorizations
- 3Calculate and collect patient liability and explain financial policies to patients
- 4Enter payments and charges, reconcile daily transactions, and balance cash drawer
- 5Schedule patient visits and procedures, maximizing reimbursement according to payer provisions
- 6Communicate effectively with patients and care team to improve patient flow and address concerns
- 7Assist with obtaining medical records and maintaining confidentiality according to policy
- 8Provide front desk patient services such as escorting patients, taking vitals, and handling paperwork
- 9Maintain independent work routine to handle high-volume, fast-paced environment
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Knowledge of patient financial services or insurance processes with 1+ year experience
- 3Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
