What You'll Do9
- 1Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support during the first 90 days.
- 2Provide direct patient care for wound care, ensuring proper hygiene and dressing changes.
- 3Observe and record patient behavior and activities, documenting changes in condition.
- 4Report physical, mental, or emotional changes to nursing staff and suggest treatment modifications.
- 5Perform POC testing and EKGs as needed, ensuring accurate results.
- 6Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, coordinating with the care team.
- 7Maintain a clean and safe environment, following infection control protocols.
- 8Support patient education on wound care and preventive measures.
- 9Collaborate with nurses and physicians to implement care plans and track progress.
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent required; can be considered without diploma if pursuing CNA license.
- 2State of TN CNA license preferred; BLS required within 30 days of hire.
- 31 year certified nurse tech or EMT experience preferred.
- 4Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds.
- 5Strong communication and documentation skills for patient records.
- 6Basic computer proficiency for electronic health records.
- 7Must pass background check and drug screening.
