You will own the patient journey at a Smile Brands dental office, applying the G3 approach (Greeting, Guiding, Gratitude) to every interaction. You will manage front-desk operations, from insurance verification to scheduling and payment discussions, impacting 650+ practices across 28 states. Unlike typical coordinator roles, you will lead the G3 experience that sets the tone for patient loyalty and satisfaction.
What You'll Do8
- 1Welcome every patient with a warm greeting and set a positive tone for their visit using the G3 method.
- 2Guide patients through check-in and check-out, including insurance verification and updating patient records.
- 3Schedule appointments and manage the dental practice calendar to maximize provider efficiency.
- 4Explain treatment plans and payment options, including financial arrangements and dental insurance coverage.
- 5Confirm patient contact information and follow up on missed appointments to reduce no-shows.
- 6Handle phone calls with professionalism, answering questions and booking visits with the G3 approach.
- 7Express gratitude to patients for choosing the practice, reinforcing Smile Brands' mission of Smiles For Everyone.
- 8Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and address any service concerns during the visit.
Requirements7
- 11+ years of related experience in a customer service or administrative role.
- 2Knowledge of dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and clinical teams.
- 3Strong communication and interpersonal skills, focused on delivering exceptional customer service.
- 4Proficiency with scheduling software and basic computer systems used in dental offices.
- 5Ability to handle financial transactions and explain payment plans clearly.
- 6Preferred: previous experience in a dental or medical office setting.
- 7Flexibility to work Monday-Thursday 8-5, Friday 7-1, and one Saturday per month.
