- 1Conducts scheduling and preregistration functions validating patient demographic data and identifying medical benefits
- 2Obtains insurance information through payor contacts and verifies authorization requirements
- 3Calculates patient financial responsibilities and collects liabilities in ADT system
- 4Delivers positive patient experience and maintains relationships with patients and external agencies
- 5Maintains productivity standards and recommends innovative approaches
- 6Complies with AHN policies and handles mandatory training sessions
- 7Communicates team barriers and resolves patient issues requiring oversight
- 8Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements5
- 1Minimum High school diploma or GED or one–three months related experience
- 2Two previous years of related experience preferred
- 3Experience operating PC and using software applications
- 4Preferred Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association
- 5Call/Service Center experience
