You serve as the subject matter expert on parts catalogs, BOMs, and technical documentation, working with engineering and product support teams to keep information accurate. This role blends hands-on technical writing with high-stakes dealer communication, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You'll work hybrid from Houston, with 3 days in-office, and access to on-site fitness and training.

What You'll Do6

  • 1Resolve Level 2 parts inquiries from dealers, delivering accurate responses within performance metrics.
  • 2Author and edit parts manuals to incorporate feedback from dealers and internal teams.
  • 3Validate BOMs and parts catalog structures against engineering drawings and change notices.
  • 4Collaborate with engineering and technical publications to ensure parts data accuracy and availability.
  • 5Drive process improvements in parts publication workflows and content maintenance.
  • 6Support dealer success by acting as the go-to resource for parts-related questions and publications.

Requirements7

  • 1Associate's degree in Technical Communications, Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 22+ years in parts support, product support, technical publications, or material handling environment.
  • 3Proven experience authoring, editing, and maintaining parts manuals and technical documentation.
  • 4Advanced knowledge of parts identification, parts catalog structures, BOMs, and service parts publications.
  • 5Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and product change notices.
  • 6Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to research and resolve complex parts inquiries.
  • 7Ability to manage multiple priorities in a customer service environment while meeting deadlines.
