What You'll Do11
- 1Manage diverse caseload from initiation through resolution
- 2Oversee case strategy and draft pleadings
- 3Answer written discovery and conduct depositions
- 4Participate in arbitration and trials
- 5Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis
- 6Communicate regularly with clients courts and witnesses
- 7Provide timely updates on case status
- 8Collaborate with partners and provide mentorship
- 9Manage billing and budget requirements
- 10Build strong client relationships
- 11Travel for court and client meetings
Requirements8
- 17+ years defense litigation experience
- 2J.D. from accredited law school
- 3Active NY bar license in good standing
- 4Strong research writing and analytical skills
- 5Experience drafting pleadings and dispositive motions
- 6Expertise in premises liability general liability product liability personal injury motor vehicle property damage construction labor law insurance defense
- 7Excellent communication and courtroom performance
- 8Proven success in settlements depositions and appearances
Salary Insight
$180 - $200k per year
