What You'll Do11
- 1Provide direct patient care administering IVIG biologics and other infusible medications as ordered
- 2Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and deliver patient education
- 3Establish peripheral intravenous lines and maintain central venous access including PICC lines implanted ports and midlines
- 4Ensure efficient submission of clinical records and medication preparation
- 5Triage infusion patient inquiries and collaborate across teams to optimize care
- 6Travel to additional locations when needed and adhere to safety infection control standards
- 7Manage required documentation and clean patient care areas
- 8Maintain AIC supplies and follow established policies and procedures
- 9Demonstrate proficiency with IV access devices and infusion medications
- 10Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery
- 11Follow state licensure and educational requirements for nursing practice
Requirements9
- 1Current RN licensure in good standing with applicable state board
- 2Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution
- 3Minimum 3 years nursing experience with infusion therapy background
- 4Advanced certification in specialty areas preferred such as CRNI ONS or IgRN
- 5Valid driver's license without significant restrictions
- 6Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook
- 7Availability for emergency response during nonstandard hours
- 8Knowledge of ICU or cardiac care settings preferred
