Parking Attendant, Non-Driving Portland Airport
Overview
You will direct patrons to parking spots, issue tickets, and process exception transactions at a Portland facility. You will handle daily shift paperwork and maintain service standards for every customer. The role requires standing or walking for long shifts and working outdoors in all weather. What You'll Do6
- 1Direct patrons to available parking spots and issue tickets, recording required information on each ticket.
- 2Process exception transactions like lost or grace-period tickets, following company policy and completing applicable forms.
- 3Complete daily shift paperwork: count transactions by rate, vehicles in and out, contract parkers, left vehicles, validated and exception tickets.
- 4Deliver Propark's service standards: maintain uniform appearance, greet customers, answer questions, resolve issues, and thank each customer.
- 5Perform small cleaning or maintenance tasks from the company's maintenance checklists when assigned by local management.
- 6Handle special projects assigned by location management, such as organizing supplies or supporting events.

- 1At least 18 years old
- 2High School degree preferred but not required
- 3Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English
- 4Availability for evenings, overnights, and weekends (shift is 3 PM to 12 AM, Thursday-Sunday)
- 51+ year of customer service experience (good to have)
- 6Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
- 7Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions and tolerate fumes and airborne particles
- 8Professional and friendly demeanor when resolving customer issues
