Overview

We seek a compassionate Parent Peer Partner to lead High Fidelity Wraparound initiatives at New Alternatives, Inc. The ideal candidate will foster hope empower families and act as a bridge between families and service providers. Responsibilities include supporting caregivers identifying strengths and coordinating resources while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Build strong trusting relationships with caregivers and families through lived experience and engagement skills
  • 2Support family participation and voice within Child and Family Team meetings
  • 3Assist families in identifying strengths natural supports and community resources
  • 4Provide encouragement coaching and peer-based support throughout the wraparound process
  • 5Help families navigate behavioral health education probation and community systems
  • 6Promote hope resilience and empowerment in all interactions
  • 7Collaborate with HFW Facilitators Family Specialists and clinical teams to support care planning
  • 8Maintain timely accurate documentation in accordance with program requirements
  • 9Apply knowledge of family-centered strengths-based and trauma-informed care principles

Requirements7

  • 1Experience as a parent or caregiver of a child with complex emotional behavioral or system involvement
  • 2Strong engagement communication and relationship-building skills
  • 3Ability to connect authentically with families in a supportive nonjudgmental manner
  • 4Current valid CA Driver's License required
  • 5Bilingual abilities strongly preferred
  • 6Understanding of family-centered trauma-informed care
  • 7Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
