What You'll Do11

  • 1Identify intervene and stabilize patients under physician and nurse supervision
  • 2Implement transport team interventions according to established protocols
  • 3Document monitor and communicate patient status and treatments
  • 4Educate patients and families about illnesses and therapeutic options
  • 5Inspect maintain and service equipment for transport team and public safety
  • 6Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire
  • 7Hold AHA or ARC paramedic credential from Michigan EMS prior to employment
  • 8Possess Neonatal Resuscitation certification preferred
  • 9Demonstrate ER vehicle operation skills preferred
  • 10Maintain driver license from Michigan BMV preferred
  • 11Provide pediatric advanced life support when applicable

Requirements10

  • 1High school diploma equivalency with two years cumulative experience or associate degree technical degree or four years relevant experience
  • 2Current BLS certification obtained within one month of hire
  • 3American Heart Association or American Red Cross paramedic credential from Michigan EMS before employment
  • 4Certification in neonatal resuscitation preferred
  • 5Driver license from Michigan Bureau of Motor Vehicles preferred
  • 6Experience with Spark and Airflow for ETL pipeline development
  • 7Three years of applicable healthcare experience
  • 8Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes platforms
  • 9Proficiency in React framework
  • 10Understanding of containerization technologies
