What You'll Do11

  • 1Obtain and document patient vital signs health history updates and treatment-related assessments
  • 2Establish and maintain peripheral intravenous access within scope of practice and organizational policy
  • 3Assist physicians and registered nurses with patient care before during and after infusion treatments
  • 4Monitor patients during infusions and promptly recognize and report changes in patient condition
  • 5Administer medications and intravenous fluids as permitted by Michigan law medical control organizational policy and provider orders
  • 6Prepare treatment areas and ensure clinical supplies and emergency equipment are stocked and readily available
  • 7Provide patient education regarding treatment expectations post-treatment instructions and when to seek medical attention
  • 8Accurately document patient care and interventions in the electronic medical record
  • 9Maintain infection prevention safety and OSHA standards at all times
  • 10Collaborate effectively with physicians registered nurses advanced practice providers and other clinical staff to promote high-quality patient care
  • 11Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing clinical education

Requirements8

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 2Current BLS/ACLS certification
  • 3Experience establishing peripheral IV access
  • 4Proficiency with electronic medical records Epic or similar systems
  • 5Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • 6Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team
  • 7Previous experience in oncology infusion therapy emergency medical services emergency department or critical care
  • 8Experience caring for medically complex or immunocompromised patients
