What You'll Do9

  • 1Deliver full-spectrum prehospital care, from BLS/ALS emergency response to advanced critical care transport, in the first 90 days.
  • 2Provide ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, and IV infusions for complex interfacility transports per PA statewide protocols.
  • 3Respond to emergent and critical calls with speed and clinical expertise, covering Bucks and Montgomery counties.
  • 4Conduct non-emergent calls with professionalism, ensuring patient comfort and safety during transport.
  • 5Operate EVOC-certified ambulances, adhering to traffic laws and safety standards during high-priority responses.
  • 6Coordinate with hospital staff and dispatch to ensure seamless patient handoffs and continuity of care.
  • 7Maintain CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications, applying advanced life support skills in critical situations.
  • 8Document all patient care accurately, using electronic patient care reports for compliance and continuity.
  • 9Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives to enhance critical care skills.

Requirements7

  • 1National Registry Paramedic certification or PA state paramedic certification
  • 2EVOC certified (Emergency Vehicle Operators Course)
  • 3CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • 4Familiarity with statewide EMS protocols
  • 5At least 20 years of age
  • 6Critical care experience strongly preferred
  • 7Ability to work part-time or per-diem shifts, including weekends (day or night)
