What You'll Do11

- 5Conduct individualized instruction and small‑group reinforcement sessions
- 6Support teachers with lesson planning and classroom documentation
- 7Maintain accurate records and complete required clerical tasks
- 8Travel between schools within Montgomery County to meet student populations
- 9Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- 10Monitor student progress and report outcomes to administration
- 11Ensure compliance with district policies and legal requirements
Requirements9
- 1Associates degree required Rosa Parks MS preferred
- 2Minimum 5+ years experience with special education students
- 3Valid teaching certification in Maryland or equivalent experience
- 4Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- 5Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb stairs safely
- 6Strong communication skills and patience with diverse learners
- 7Experience with behavior management systems and SSPGS framework
- 8Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
- 9Valid driver’s license for transportation between sites
