Pantry Coordinator, Food Service & Inventory
Overview
You own food and beverage distribution from the pantry at Chevron in El Segundo, CA. You maintain product inventory, understand menu offerings, and process sales via electronic tablets. You work with a global foodservice leader, Eurest, serving Fortune 500 clients. Full-time, Monday-Friday, $21.00 per hour, with benefits like Medical, Dental, and Retirement Plan.
What You'll Do8
- 1Distribute all food and beverage from the pantry within 5 minutes of order placement.
- 2Maintain accurate product inventory counts and restock shelves daily using inventory software.
- 3Process sales transactions on electronic tablets with precision, including create, modify, or close checks.
- 4Adhere to safety and sanitation policies and maintain a clean workspace.
- 5Assist with menu planning and suggest menu offerings based on inventory levels.
- 6Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely replenishment of pantry items.
- 7Handle cash and card payments through the POS system.
- 8Communicate order status to customers and address any discrepancies.
Requirements7
- 12+ years of experience in food service required.
- 2Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- 3High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 4Food Handler's Card or ServSafe certification is a plus.
- 5Experience with POS systems and inventory tracking is preferred.
- 6Flexibility to work Monday-Friday with varying hours.
- 7Spanish speaking is beneficial for customer interactions.
