Overview
This role owns painting, coating, and finish applications across residential, commercial, and industrial projects on site in Phoenix. You will prepare surfaces, apply primers and multiple coatings, and ensure durable, high-quality results aligned with client specifications. Work with a dynamic construction team and utilize painting techniques to transform spaces while adhering to safety standards. This position offers hands-on experience across diverse project types and opportunities to contribute craftsmanship.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build surface prep and coating workflows to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality
- 2Apply primer, paint, stain, sealers, and industrial finishes using conventional or spray techniques
- 3Operate hand tools, power tools, airless spray equipment, brushes, and rollers to apply coatings
- 4Perform site safety and scaffolding or lift operations and adhere to ladder safety protocols
- 5Inspect completed surfaces and touch up as needed to meet client specifications
Requirements5
- 1Proven experience in construction painting including surface preparation and finishing
- 2Experience with residential, commercial, and industrial painting techniques
- 3Ability to prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and priming
- 4Competence with painting equipment including spray devices and brushes
- 5Knowledge of safety regulations and on-site construction practices
Salary Insight
$37 - $52k per year
