What You'll Do8
- 1Prep surfaces by scraping, sanding, and patching to ensure proper adhesion.
- 2Prime and apply coatings using brush and roller techniques for interior and exterior surfaces.
- 3Caulk and patch minor repairs on trim, doors, windows, and siding.
- 4Restore older painted surfaces, including wood repair and fine finishes.
- 5Protect client homes, landscaping, floors, and furniture before and during work.
- 6Maintain clean and organized job sites daily.
- 7Work independently or alongside a small crew to complete projects on schedule.
- 8Identify and properly prepare failing paint and damaged surfaces.
Requirements10
- 15+ years of professional residential painting experience.
- 2Strong preparation skills, including scraping, sanding, and patching.
- 3Excellent brush and roller technique with clean lines.
- 4Experience with interior and exterior residential projects.
- 5Comfortable working on ladders and with power tools.
- 6Ability to identify failing paint and damaged surfaces.
- 7Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- 8Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- 9Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
- 10Experience with older homes, window restoration, wood repair, or fine finishes is highly valued.
Salary Insight
