You will own surface preparation and coating application for large-scale commercial and industrial projects across Ohio, using airless spray equipment and high-performance coatings. What You'll Do8
- 1Prepare surfaces through sanding, grinding, pressure washing, cleaning, and masking to ensure proper coating adhesion.
- 2Set up, operate, and maintain airless and conventional spray equipment for consistent coverage.
- 3Apply primers, industrial paints, epoxies, urethanes, and specialty protective coatings per project specs.
- 4Verify coating thickness and finish quality using gauges and visual inspection, adjusting as needed.
- 5Inspect completed work and perform touch-ups to meet company quality standards.
- 6Maintain spray equipment, hoses, pumps, and related tools to prevent downtime.
- 7Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures while working on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding.
- 8Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule.
Requirements8
- 12+ years of experience as an Industrial Spray Painter or Commercial Spray Painter.
- 2Proficient in operating airless spray equipment, including setup and troubleshooting.
- 3Knowledge of industrial coatings like epoxies, urethanes, and high-performance paints.
- 4Experience reading product specifications and mixing coating materials accurately.
- 5Attention to detail for quality workmanship in demanding environments.
- 6Comfortable working at heights and in industrial settings.
- 7Clean shaven for respirator compliance when required.
- 8Reliable transportation and a smartphone for timekeeping and communication.
