Overview
You will pack products for shipment in a small manufacturing facility, verifying orders and preparing packages with RF scanner and computer systems. You will join a team of five in a close-knit stock room, reporting directly to a supervisor. This role offers a steady daytime schedule and hands-on experience with warehouse technology in a supportive, approachable environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Receive products from pickers and prepare them for shipment according to order requirements.
- 2Scan items with an RF scanner to ensure accurate tracking and order verification.
- 3Select appropriate boxes and packing materials based on product size, weight, and fragility.
- 4Print shipping labels from the computer and attach them to packages correctly.
- 5Verify all items against pick sheets to confirm order accuracy before shipment.
- 6Perform basic data entry to update order and shipment information in the computer system.
- 7Lift and move products and boxes up to 50 pounds as part of daily tasks.
- 8Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in the stock room.
- 9Communicate with team members and other departments to resolve packing or order issues.
- 10Follow company procedures for packing, labeling, and handling products.

- 2Comfort standing and sitting for extended periods.
- 3Basic computer skills, including labeling and data entry.
- 4Ability to use an RF scanner to scan and track products.
- 5Capability to read and understand pick sheets and instructions, passing a 3rd grade reading level test.
- 6Attention to detail to verify packed items match pick sheets.
- 7Reliability to work a full shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- 8Strong focus on accuracy and following procedures.
