Packaging Operator 1, Manufacturing
Overview
You will own manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products at a Boston manufacturing site. You will execute finished product packaging to meet customer, internal, and clinical demand, ensuring Quality specifications are met. You will maintain accurate device history records and inventory counts, and support safety audits and daily discussions. This role offers a stable 2nd shift schedule with required overtime flexibility.
What You'll Do8
- 1Inspect in-process packaging and components for quality, removing defective product and material.
- 2Label and package finished products per Quality procedures and customer requirements.
- 3Complete batch records with accurate documentation and simple mathematical calculations.
- 4Count inventory and assist with inventory reconciliation activities.
- 5Participate in safety audits and engage in daily safety observations.
- 6Clean packaging stations and processing equipment per GMP standards.
- 7Follow PPE and gowning requirements for contamination control.
- 8Handle hazardous waste per OSHA guidelines.
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or GED.
- 26+ months of industry work experience.
- 3Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- 4Ability to read and understand documentation.
- 5Basic computer skills for inventory and documentation systems.
- 6Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- 7Flexibility to work overtime and rotating shifts.
Salary Insight
$37 - $44k per year
