Overview
You own your truck and your schedule. As an Owner Operator with Premier Way Consulting and Logistics, you'll run your own business with our dispatch support, hauling freight across the nation in your Dry Van, Reefer, or Straight Box truck. We handle the back office so you can focus on the road, and we don't force dispatch: you decide how and where your truck runs. What You'll Do8
- 1Safely operate your own Dry Van, Reefer, or Straight Box truck to deliver goods nationwide, adhering to all regulations and deadlines.
- 2Accept or decline dispatch offers based on your preferences; you control your routes and schedule.
- 3Coordinate with dispatchers for Load Planning, negotiations, and to secure high-paying freight.
- 4Maintain your truck's compliance with DOT regulations, including logbooks, inspections, and maintenance.
- 5Manage your own fuel, tolls, and drop-off/pick-up paperwork while on the road.
- 6Communicate proactively with dispatch for real-time updates, issues, or route changes.
- 7Invoice and factor loads through our back office to ensure timely payment.
- 8Capitalize on 24/7 dispatch support to minimize downtime and maximize your weekly earnings.
Requirements8
- 1Valid Class A CDL or equivalent for straight box or power-only operation.
- 2Must own a semi-truck, straight box, dry van, or reefer trailer (no company equipment).
- 32+ years of over-the-road driving experience preferred, but not required.
- 4Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
- 5Ability to stay out on the road for extended periods.
- 6Working knowledge of ELD logging and basic trailer maintenance.
- 7Authorized to work in the U.S. (criminal record does not disqualify).
- 8Flexibility to run both part-time and full-time loads as per your preference.
