What You'll Do10
- 1Build and operate a dedicated freight program across Midwest and Southern lanes to ensure steady weekly revenue
- 2Drive loads to designated Bolingbrook or Elwood, IL yards with consistent return trips
- 3Manage routes to optimize home time and avoid forced dispatch while maintaining safety standards
- 4Communicate with dispatch to coordinate preloaded trailers for faster turnaround
- 5Maintain high safety and compliance standards to meet DOT requirements
- 6Monitor fuel savings opportunities and utilize the fuel discount program
- 7Participate in 24/7 roadside network for support as needed
- 8Adhere to PCI and PSP guidelines and maintain a clean driving record
- 9Ensure trucks and trailers are compliant with company and DOT inspections
- 10Report load status and performance metrics to leadership for continuous improvement
Requirements5
- 1Hold a valid CDL driver's license with a clean record and PSP
- 2Must own a truck with no age limit and pass DOT inspection
- 3Ability to operate Midwest and Southern routes
- 4Professional, safety-focused mindset and strong communication skills
