What You'll Do8
- 1Unload stock from l-carts or pallets and match location codes to shelf labels, placing product accurately.
- 2Complete assigned stock area each shift, scanning and verifying placements with handheld scanners.
- 3Rotate and merchandise product to maintain freshness and visual appeal, following food safety standards.
- 4Build positive connections with customers by sharing product knowledge and helping locate items.
- 5Work across Fresh departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery as needed.
- 6Use technology to track inventory and complete tasks with precision, reducing errors.
- 7Support other tasks like cleaning and organizing back stock to keep operations running smoothly.
- 8Adhere to sanitation and quality procedures, ensuring a safe shopping environment.
Requirements8
- 16+ months of retail or food service experience preferred, not required.
- 2Ability to lift, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods during 4-8 hour shifts.
- 3Comfort learning and using handheld scanners and job-specific technology.
- 4Strong listening and communication skills for customer interaction.
- 5Attention to detail for accurate stock placement and rotation.
