What You'll Do7
- 1Welcome residents and guests at the lobby entrance, verifying access and offering assistance
- 2Patrol the building and garage on a fixed schedule, checking doors, cameras, and alarms for breaches
- 3Log each patrol round and incident in BuildingLink, flagging issues for the morning team
- 4Respond to emergencies by alerting management and maintenance, then documenting the action taken
- 5Keep the security desk and lobby clean and organized, reporting any maintenance needs
- 6Monitor security cameras and entry systems, challenging any unauthorized individuals
- 7Compile a nightly summary of events and shift notes for the day team handoff
Requirements8
- 1High School diploma or GED
- 21+ year of security experience in a residential or hospitality setting
- 3Able to stay alert and undistracted for the full overnight shift (10pm-6am or 11pm-7am)
- 4Physically capable of standing, walking, and climbing stairs for 8 hours
- 5Professional written and verbal communication skills in English
- 6Comfortable using BuildingLink or similar property management software (training provided)
- 7Valid security license for New Jersey (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- 8Must pass a background check and drug screening
