Overview
Signal of Omaha & Signal of Salt Lake City seeks an Overnight Event Security Officer to act as Site Lead for a 3-week event in South Jordan, UT. You will own safety and security across the premises, direct a team of officers, and enforce site rules including 10:00 PM curfew. This role combines hands-on patrol with community engagement, requiring a UT Guard Card and reliable transportation. Work Thursday-Friday and Sunday or Monday-Wednesday from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, earning $20/hour with professional development and referral program benefits.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead a team of officers on site, ensuring all understand post orders and foot patrol routes.
- 2Monitor and patrol on foot throughout the building, stairwells, and community rooms to maintain safety and security.
- 3Prepare detailed reports during hourly foot patrols, documenting incidents, observations, and unusual occurrences.
- 4Enforce rules and regulations, including conducting ban and bar procedures, issuing trespass warnings, and upholding the 10:00 PM curfew.
- 5Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- 6Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- 7Attend on-site training to gain full understanding of post orders and site-specific security procedures.
- 8Work with the community to foster a positive collaboration between security and local residents or visitors.
