Overview
Drive a 2020 International truck pulling a 53-foot flatbed trailer for Sokoli Transportation LLC in New York, New York. You will operate on the road, hauling goods at scale across the region. What You'll Do8
- 1Drive a 2020 International truck and pull a 53-foot flatbed trailer daily.
- 2Communicate with the dispatcher through WhatsApp to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
- 3Secure and inspect cargo using flatbed-specific techniques to ensure safe transport.
- 4Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- 5Maintain accurate logs of hours, mileage, and delivery documentation.
- 6Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies to minimize accidents and violations.
- 7Deliver freight on schedule, adapting to weather and traffic conditions.
- 8Represent the company professionally at customer locations and during roadside checks.
Requirements8
- 12+ years of commercial driving experience with a CDL Class A license.
- 2Flatbed experience is preferred, but training available for the right candidate.
- 3Pass a drug test prior to start date.
- 4Ability to start within 2 weeks of hire.
- 5Clean driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in the last 5 years.
- 6Effective communication skills via WhatsApp for dispatch updates.
- 7Physical ability to secure and tarp loads, including climbing on trailers.
- 8Commitment to vehicle maintenance and safety checks on a daily basis.
