What You'll Do8
- 1Drive OTR routes hauling flatbed freight across the Lower 48, excluding NY and FL, covering 2,500+ miles weekly.
- 2Secure and tarp loads, earning $75 per tarp, with proper load securement techniques.
- 3Follow dispatch instructions and maintain communication with dispatch, maintenance, and safety teams for 24/7 support.
- 4Manage time effectively for 3-5 weeks out with 3-5 days home, using paid home time program to earn 1-3 days paid home time.
- 5Complete pre- and post-trip inspections on late model, expertly maintained trucks, reporting any issues immediately.
- 6Adhere to all safety protocols, including clean inspection bonuses and downtime pay for maintenance or weather.
- 7Collaborate with the safety team to uphold a strong safety culture and never drive in unsafe conditions.
- 8Transition within 3 months to the Specialized Chemical Division, hauling high-value freight with advanced equipment, after meeting criteria.
Requirements10
- 1Valid CDL Class A license
- 22+ years recent verifiable CDL A OTR driving experience
- 31+ year flatbed experience
- 43 or fewer jobs in the past 3 years
- 5No current participation in the SAP program
- 6Pass background check, road test, agility test, and drug screening
- 7Ability to secure and tarp flatbed loads, earning $75 per tarp
- 8Willingness to run OTR routes covering the Lower 48, excluding NY and FL
- 9Flexibility for 3-5 weeks out and 3-5 days home schedules
